Our 4th Annual Precious Pets Portrait Contest is coming up, and this year we've added a new twist—humans are welcome in the portraits too, not just pets! You can make a portrait of your own pet, yourself with your pet, or your grandchild/child with their pet. It has to be your artwork — no fully AI-generated pieces — and it has to be a pet you or your family has or have had at some point. Any medium is allowed, just keep it under 36 inches and under 15 pounds, and make sure it's either wired for hanging or, if sculptural, it must be stable enough to stand on its own. We can't wait to see your entries this year!
Entry fee: $10 (goes to our partner charity organization
Covenant Pet Trust!) / FREE for Art League and Youth Art League members
Voting starts September 4th: $1 dollar = one vote, and you can vote as many times as you like — so bring your people!
Online voting will be available again this year for those who can't make it in person.
Proceeds from the top voted entry will be split with our partner charity org. All other voting proceeds help support the Gallery.
The top three vote-getters will take home ribbons and prizes, and first place wins a full year Reciprocal Art League membership valued at $100.
Drop-off day: Saturday, August 29th beginning at 10 am
Opening reception: Friday, September 4th @ 5:30 pm
Voting begins Friday, September 4th and ends Friday, October 23rd
Pick-up entries on Saturday, October 24th beginning at noon
