Art League members who wish to display their work at the Gallery may fill out the form below and submit work for review. Applications are reviewed by a committee to determine if work will be put before a Jury for selection. Once an application is reviewed and selected, a Jury will be assigned, at which time Artist can make an appointment with our Curator* to bring in 5-6 pieces of work, wired for hanging, or otherwise ready to display (if not wall art.)

*Please do not bring work to the Gallery without first setting an appointment with our Curator. We can not be responsible for any work dropped off without prior approval.

About the jury process

  • Factors that may affect jury approval include price point, frame style/quality, significant differences between application photographs and actual work, and/or close similarity to work already in the Gallery.
  • On occasion, the Jury may approve specific pieces/mediums, but not others. If this occurs, feedback will be shared and Artist will have an opportunity to bring in other pieces for further review. Remember, the Jury wants you to succeed! All feedback is meant to help improve the chances of your work being sold.
  • The Jury process is not a value judgement, it is simply a means to determine if the work is a good fit for our particular market and typical clientele. If the Jury declines to approve Artist’s work, this should not be taken as a measure of its worth or quality, only that the Jury did not feel it was appropriate for our space and/or projected market at this time. Artists may reapply after 6 months.

Additional notes

We understand that art is subjective and sometimes provocative, but because we have frequent children’s art classes and other events in the common space, art that showcases nudity, violence, profane or politically charged dialogue, or other content that may be considered divisive or inappropriate for a family-friendly establishment shall not be displayed. If you’re unsure, please contact our Curator for guidance.

Artists must be able to interface with the public in a friendly and helpful manner, and be willing to learn our checkout system to make sales.

Due to the nature of the volunteer work at the Gallery, we may perform background checks for new volunteers. Filling out the application form below constitutes agreement to this process. We appreciate your understanding.
