Welcome to the Gateway Art Gallery Community! We're glad you're here.

This is a space for Art League members to connect, share, and support one another.

To keep this a welcoming place for everyone, we ask that all members follow these guidelines:

BE KIND Treat everyone with respect. Disagreements are fine — personal attacks, name-calling, and harassment aren't. We're a community of artists and art lovers. Lead with generosity.

BE COURTEOUS Not every post is going to be for you. If you don't like a particular piece of art that gets posted, please keep scrolling until you find one more to your liking. We do not wish to see disparaging remarks about anyone's artwork in this space.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF Before posting anywhere else, please introduce yourself in the "New Here, Say Hi!" room. Post a random fact about yourself so we can get to know you better.

STAY ON TOPIC Post in the room that makes the most sense for your message. If you're not sure, General is a good place to start. Off-topic posts may be moved by a moderator.

NO RELIGION OR POLITICS This is an arts community. Please keep discussions focused on art, creativity, and our shared interests. Posts involving religion, politics, or other divisive topics will be removed.

NO GENERATIVE AI IMAGES

We are a family of human artists working hard to keep real human-made art alive and appreciated. AI images may have their place, but we want to see YOUR artwork thought up and created by YOU. Generative AI imagery goes against everything we are trying to do here, so please respect our artists by not posting it here. Also AI generators use the work of other artists without consent or compensation, and we do not wish to be party to that. We appreciate your understanding.

KEEP IT FAMILY-FRIENDLY This community is open to members of all ages. Please keep all content appropriate for a general audience. Adult content, explicit language, and inappropriate imagery are not permitted.

NO SPAM OR SELF-PROMOTION Sharing your own work is welcomed in Show & Tell. Repeated promotional posts in other rooms will be removed. Don't post links to outside selling platforms without moderator approval. (i.e. Square shops, Etsy, eBay, Amazon, Marketplace, etc.)

RESPECT COPYRIGHT Only share images and content that you own or have explicit permission to share. Don't post artwork, photographs, or written content belonging to others without proper credit and permission. Posting copyrighted material without authorization may result in immediate removal.

BUY/SELL/TRADE The Art Supplies room is for art supplies only. Please include a price or trade offer in your post. Meet in a safe, public location (such as the Gallery) for exchanges. The Gallery isn't responsible for transactions between members.

USER PRIVACY Don't share other members' personal information — including their email, phone number, or address — without their permission.

MODERATION Posts that violate these guidelines may be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in loss of posting privileges. If you have a concern or want to report a post, please contact us. We're always happy to help.
